It has been a hot minute since I've shared a vegan food haul and taste test on here and while perusing iHerb.com recently to stock up on some supplements, I also threw in some never-before-tried snacks and meals into my cart! I'm always amazed by the variety of food I find on the website, and these all caught my attention. From fish-free tuna to vegan mac and cheese and matcha latte, I'm taste testing all of my finds on camera with you so you can see my live reactions! Things I Picked Up While In Greece! | Travel Haul

I still can't believe it's already been a month since I got back from Greece! I had the most amazing time in the Mediterranean and the timing could not have been more perfect. I just really needed to get away and make time for myself and people who matter most to me. The change in scenery felt so good and having plenty of time to get outside, be active, explore and learn about the culture was even better than I had hoped for. Naturally, being in Greece I was hoping to find natural skincare (as in, lots of stuff made with olive oil, obviously) but our finds exceeded even my own expectations. I thought I would share all the beauty bits I picked up because I'm always curious when it comes to travel hauls and whatnot.

Summer Fashion Haul + Lookbook | Dynamite, AE, Winners and more!

I've been shopping around in the last few weeks for new summer pieces as my closet has been looking a little sad, and since it's that time of the year when all the good sales are going on, I've been making the best of it! For one, my cousin was visiting from Alberta so we spent an afternoon at the mall and I picked up a few pieces from Dynamite and American Eagle. I also needed to find an outfit for my graduation ceremony and found a lovely dress at Winners along with a cute pair of blue lace up sandals. I scored a couple more deals on flats at Payless and Ardene because I was in dire need of new ones. If you know me, you know I mostly always buy clothes that are discounted, as evidenced by this haul. I taught I would share what I picked up and film a lookbook too (my first fashion video)! iHerb Vegan Beauty Haul: Makeup, Skin Care and more!

If you've been following this space for a while, you probably already know that I've been on the hunt for natural alternatives to a variety of beauty items. So far I have come across many different brands and products that have gradually made their way into my daily routine. I love nothing more than to showcase items on here that may not be well-known to most but that I believe still deserve a fair chance, especially when they are affordable and contain non-toxic ingredients. I recently felt the urge to (yet again) explore some more and do a bit of shopping on iHerb.com to see what I could find. As usual, I got sucked in with the deals they were having on the site and ended up ordering a good amount of natural products, all of which are also vegan and cruelty free. So when the box showed up on my doorstep, as per what seems to have become a tradition of sorts, I whipped out my camera and decided to film a haul for you. My Summertime Pamper Routine featuring Nivea

When it comes time to sit back and relax, nothing beats a little pamper session to help me recuperate after a long day spent indoors working on my feet or on campus sitting through my summer classes. With the hot weather seemingly staying for the long haul (fingers crossed), the heat can however have a toll on my body both physically and mentally. By the time I get home, all I want to do is let myself decompress from the day, eat a good meal, brew myself some chamomile tea, sit outside for a while in my backyard to breathe in some fresh air, and also catch up on my favourite bloggers and vloggers. Before heading to bed, I also enjoy incorporating skincare products into my routine both when in the shower and right after to soothe my dehydrated skin. Since I'm always on the lookout for the next best product, I went for a walk to my local Walmart the other day to see what Nivea products they had to offer as part of this #CollectiveBias shop. Having previously only tried a couple of their products, I was pleasantly surprised by all the body care items that were displayed and may have spent more time than necessary in the body lotion aisle - yes, I'm that shopper who likes to open lids to help me decide on a scent, and Nivea certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard since there is a nice variety of products to choose from that will surely please a scent-lover like me.

I recently did a little damage on iHerb.com, which has quickly become one of my favourite online stores for all things beauty! I first discovered the website when I was looking to purchase Real Techniques makeup brushes, and it's only until after a couple more brush orders that I realized the sheer amount of natural and organic beauty products that they offer - my eyes were seriously in heaven just looking at the alphabetical list of brands! This is more of a collective haul since I placed two separate orders on the websites (this might be becoming a problem...oops!), so today I though I would share with you what I purchased.

Mini Target Skin Care Haul

I was at Target the other day for the sole purpose of picking up a moisturizer, and somehow ended up coming out with more than I had planned on buying. Girl problems much? As promised, I am sharing the few items that made their way into my shopping basket. I repurchased a holy grail moisturizer, and also decided to try two other skin care products which caught my eye while perusing the aisle.

New Year, New Clothes and a New Camera!

Happy New Year beauties! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that you had the chance to catch up with friends and family - and also got to indulge in some delicious food! I don't know about you, but I ate way too much in the last week... I'm definitely going to take it easy on the meals for the next few days!

A few days ago I decided it was time for me to get some new clothes for work. I tend to buy my clothes in bulk, once in the summer and once during winter when all the good sales are going on. I went a little crazy at one of my favourite clothing stores here in Canada called Dynamite, and I was also in need of new winter boots and was so glad to find a pair I liked from SoftMoc!

Also, I finally got a new camera! I had been saving my money to purchase a DSLR, and I can now say that I am the proud owner of a Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D! I've always been interested in photography, and I am so excited to experiment and learn all there is to know when it comes to taking professional photos. I've been meaning to bring my blog to the next level, and having a DSLR to take better pictures is definitely one step in the right direction!

Try Mario Badescu Skin Care Products for FREE!

I've been reading a lot of good reviews on the Mario Badescu Skin Care range, and while checking out their website I came across their Consulting page, where they ask you to complete a skin care analysis questionnaire and then recommend you a bunch of products suitable for your skin type that you can purchase right off their website. I didn't end up buying anything, but after a few hours they sent me a follow-up e-mail which had a link at the very bottom to try some free samples! At first I thought "this is too good to be true," but after doing some research I realized that it actually is true and really works! Apparently the brand has been offering these free samples online since 2007! It took me a while to receive them, I would say about 2 months, but I certainly didn't mind waiting considering I didn't have to pay for anything. I was expecting maybe 2-3 samples and was quite surprised when I received 7! I thought I would share this discovery with you, I mean who doesn't like to receive free products right? Drugstore Makeup Haul ft. Essence, Maybelline and Covergirl

A few weeks ago my cousin who lives on the other side of the country came for a visit and although we only had an afternoon to spend together, we decided we wanted to squeeze in some time for shopping, and since we didn't have enough time to go to the mall, we of course decided to take a short walk to the drugstore! My cousin, my sister and I ended up hitting Pharmaprix a.k.a Shoppers Drug Mart and each bought a few *cough* products...gotta love impromptu girly shopping outings! :)

Real Techniques Haul | Round 3 - The Expert Face and Setting Brushes

I have done it yet again. I got more makeup brushes (like I need any more right?). The thing is, I just can't resist! Ever since I got my first set of Real Techniques Brushes, I just knew I would eventually end up getting the whole line. Lo and behold, slowly but surely my brush collection is expanding. The most recent additions to my Real Techniques collection are the Expert Face Brush and the Setting Brush. Not surprisingly, I have already grown fond of them as they have quickly been incorporated into my daily makeup routine.

I went on a little *cough* online shopping spree last week and just got my order in the mail! I couldn't contain my excitement, and lo and behold, a haul has ensued! BeautyJoint.com sells a variety of makeup tools and products from brands that are hard to find outside of the US, such as Wet n Wild, NYX, E.L.F., Jordana and many more! I had quite a few products on my wish list and BeautyJoint carried so many of them, so of course I splurged! The products are not only insanely cheap, but shipping is super affordable as well. I highly recommend this service for anyone looking for a good deal on good quality makeup! :)
