With summer in full swing, I've been spending a lot of time outdoors, in and out of the pool and on many daily dog walks with my little Mika. I've also been escaping the city on weekend road trips, going on hikes to soak in what nature has to offer. The change in temperatures from air-conditioned spaces to full-on heat and humidity means I've been keeping up with my skincare routine as I tend to have dry skin even in the warmer months. While in the colder months I prefer using a thicker body cream, lotion or balm, I discovered the benefits of body serums which feel lighter and are perfect for summer dress weather. I have been testing a new one out, the Pascoe Hyaluronic Body Serum* - I've been enjoying their Hyaluronic Face Cream and Vitamin C Serum Intensive Care on my face and it was time for me to shine some light on their body care!
What I love about Pascoe is that their products are gentle and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive ones, which is what I deal with. While many body serums are marketed as a layering product for body lotion, this one can be used on its own and has a lovely non-sticky gel texture that glides on like an oil but is super quick-absorbing. This rejuvenating body serum provides deep hydration, leaving the skin looking radiant, firm and feeling smooth. If you deal with body acne (I have for years and thankfully it's under control now), this product reduces the appearance of blemishes, and is also great for irritation (hello mosquito season) and dry patches.
Compared to their two facial products, this one has a very light scent - it's almost undetectable. The botanical extracts that make up the formula include passionflower, marigold, pansy, thyme, gentian, echinacea, sage and hops. As with all of Pascoe's skincare products, the Hyaluronic Body Serum is vegan and cruelty-free, dermatologically-tested, certified natural and made in Germany. I've been using this product daily after showering and the hydration is locked in all day long thanks to its hyaluronic acid content.
I've switched over my body skincare to exclusively using this body serum and I have been loving how soft my skin is. Wearing dresses, skirts, shorts, tank tops and bikinis means I want my skin to be looking its best and this serum has definitely helped on that front. I also love the simplistic glass packaging and the dispenser comes with a lock mechanism to help prevent spills when travelling which always comes in handy.

I love the idea of something lighter for the summer! I can't handle heavy thick creams right now, they would just melt off of me. We've been spending a lot of time going in and out, too, so I'm going to have to give this a try.
