Strengthening My Hair with Garnier | Whole Blends Castor Oil Remedy

Are you familiar with castor oil? This ingredient has gotten a lot of praise in the beauty world in the last few years, and with reason. I first heard of castor oil around the same time I started my blog (over eight years ago!) when I was researching ingredients that would help condition my sparse eyelashes and eyebrows. This shampoo, as do all of the products in this line, smells SO amazing! It contains natural extracts and on top of castor oil responsibly sourced from India, it also contains Canadian maple sap (a truly beloved ingredient here in Quebec - we are the world's largest producer after all!). It lightly lathers and I really only need a small amount, making sure to give my scalp a thorough massage while working the product into my roots. With most shampoos, I usually need to do two hair washes for deep cleansing but find that I only need one application to get my hair squeaky clean thanks to this gem.

To bring back some shine and smoothness to my locks, I then reach for this fab conditioner. What I really like is that it is made with vegan ingredients and it is also paraben-free (as is the entire range). I only need a small amount and let it sit in my hair for two to three minutes before rinsing. I love a no-fuss conditioner that does not leave my hair feeling weighed down or on the greasy side and I am very happy with the results I achieve using this one from Garnier.

I've been ending my hair washing routine with this leave-in conditioning creme to lock in the moisture after towel-drying my hair. What's great about this product is that you can apply it to wet or dry hair and it helps tame flyaways, which I deal with having wavy, unruly hair. It has a really sweet fragrance which I absolutely love! Not only that, but it helps with strengthening your hair as well as making it feel super soft and touchable.
