Summer Accessory Favourites | What I've Been Loving

What a summer! I hope you all have been having a great one. As for me, I've been reflecting back on the great memories this season has already brought! It's been a while since I've talked about fashion on here, so I figured it'd be good to switch things up a bit and share some accessories I've been loving this summer. I definitely would describe my sense of style as casual and minimalistic on the daily, so I wanted to share items that I've been getting a lot of use out of these past few months - as you will see, they are nothing extravagant, just things I treasure for their simplicity.

Jewelry

When it comes to jewelry, I am most drawn to dainty pieces that I can easily pull off every day, and that is exactly what I found in this pair of stunning golden earrings*! Despite its simplicity, this pair provides an element of sophistication, and could certainly complement a more elaborate, chic look, yet goes just as well with a more casual outfit, which is what you'll see me wearing most days. They are amazing quality as they are made with 14K gold, and I opted for these ones with a rose gold finish. These earrings are basically the only earrings I've been wearing since getting them... I'm majorly obsessed!

Sunglasses

I kind of have a thing for purple framed sunglasses, as this pair is actually the second purple pair I own! Once again, these are great for every day and go well with pretty much everything I wear. Whether I'm driving, out hiking or sunbathing by the pool, you won't see me without my trusty shades on. I purchased these last summer, and they have been a staple of mine this summer as well. I got them adjusted to my head when I got them and they fit perfectly - so I don't have to worry about them falling off which has happened far too many times with my other sunglasses.

Backpack

Speaking of hiking, I've done quite a bit of it this past summer! I recently went to Mont-Sourire and Mont-Orford here in Quebec and had a blast out in nature with friends. If there is one thing you want to make sure to have on your day hike, that would be a compact backpack to carry all your necessities. I got this stylish Tutilo black backpack from Winners and have enjoyed wearing it so much that I switched from my purse to this backpack for everyday use. It's super lightweight and can fit quite a bit despite its small size. It has a lot of compartments too so everything stays nice and organized when I'm out and about.

Wedge Slide Sandals

I recently shared these platform sandals in my Birthday Get Ready with Me! They are beyond comfortable despite being synthetic. I have even made my way downtown multiple times in public transit with them on: hopping on the bus, making my way down multiple staircases to the underground metro, back up, and then finally walking to my destination without actually killing my feet (it's a miracle because my feet are unbelievably sensitive). I don't actually know the brand of this pair since I've had them for two seasons now and the name has rubbed off, but you can find similar platform sandals here.
