Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Moisturizer & Earth Sourced Power Berry Serum

Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Moisturizer & Earth Sourced Power Berry Serum

Does anyone else always peruse articles online before making a beauty purchase? I'm that person that will pull up a new tab and do a quick search on my phone while debating whether to spend the moola in the aisle. That's why I love sharing reviews so much because they help me make an informed decision on what's worth giving a try. I've been a fan of Paula's Choice skincare for a few years as they make some of my favourite cleansers and moisturizers. Although I regularly rotate the skincare brands I use, I always come back to using their line. Paula's Choice recently came out with two new products: the Omega+ Complex Moisturizer* and the Earth Sourced Power Berry Serum*. I've been using them for the past few weeks and wanted to report back on how I have been faring with these new additions to my skincare stash.

Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Moisturizer

The Omega+ Complex Moisturizer is a great, no-fuss product. I love that combined with the serum shown below, it gives my skin a healthy glow. As someone who has combination skin, I also notice it does not make me shiny in my T-zone as happens when using other day lotions, and the formula does not feel greasy whatsoever. The texture is on the creamier side, almost like a heavy mousse, yet when applied spreads easily and feels lightweight. Most importantly, it does what it claims: my skin feels supple throughout the day, and my base makeup goes on smoothly on top. This moisturizer is rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants and contains a blend of various plant extracts, such as chia seeds, passion fruit, guava, flax seeds, shea butter and olive oil. I make sure to follow up with a good facial sunscreen since this one does not offer sun protection.

Paula's Choice Earth Sourced Power Berry Serum

The Earth Sourced Power Berry Serum really intrigued me, and as soon as I got it, I applied some straight away. The product itself is pink, reflecting the high berry content as the product is void of colourants and also 95% natural. This antioxidant-rich, anti-aging serum has a liquid texture, and my skin drinks it up within seconds. The extensive list of 13 different berries includes gooseberry, açaí, blueberry, bilberry, raspberry, elderberry, acerola, seaberry, blackberry, goji berry, jabuticaba, strawberry and chinaberry. I mean, it's quite impressive, and a handful of these I have never even come across before! I was hoping it would have a sweet scent but alas, the serum is fragrance-free. I've been using this serum morning and night and being suitable for all skin types, I have not had any issues using this on my sensitive skin.
