Spring Makeup Look with Yves Rocher + Giveaway!

Happy Spring! With the change in seasons, I've also felt the urge to switch things up when it comes to doing my makeup - I realized that over the last few months, I've basically been wearing the same look over and over again! Does anyone else also feel inspired when a new season rolls around to up their beauty game? I've been gravitating toward incorporating quite a few new products from Yves Rocher*, and I'll be showing you which ones I have been enjoying, as well as incorporating some of my favourites I've discovered over the years in my latest video tutorial. One of the new discoveries I had to include is their Moisturizing Nude Foundation. As you will see in the video, it provides great coverage, feels light on the skin and does not dry out the skin! The bottle comes with a dropper, so you get just the right amount of product to cover your entire face. The key ingredient in this foundation is Edulis Cellular Water. This extract is cultivated in La Gacilly in France, where Yves Rocher grows many of the plants they incorporate into their products. They chose Edulis as it is known to capture water and retain it in its leaves, and acts in a similar way on the skin, adding moisture and keeping the skin hydrated.

One of my favourite brow products of all time is the original Yves Rocher Eyebrow Pencil, so I was excited to see that they have added two additions to their brow product roster: Eyebrow Pencil 12H Precision and Eyebrow Mascara. The new pencil is double ended like the original - one side has a spoolie brush to comb and tame unruly hairs, however instead of a traditional pencil requiring sharpening, the other side has a retractable tip that makes defining your brows a breeze by using small strokes to create the illusion of hairs. I like first using the pencil to fill in sparse areas. Then I finish off with the eyebrow mascara: the formula contains 100% natural botanical fibers that are tinted so you can achieve fuller and even-looking brows that will stay put throughout the day. The miniature brush allows for control and precision by applying just the right amount of product and the product has a light texture to achieve a flawless application. Both of these come in three natural-looking shades and using both together provides me with nicely defined brows.

For a pop of pink on the lips, I went for the Grand Rouge Matte Lipstick in 154 Splendid Pink. This matte line is formulated with Camellia oil to keep your lips nourished and is also free of parabens and silicones. The pigmentation is nice as well, and the colour lasts up to 8 hours on the lips! I love how the Yves Rocher logo is embossed on the tip of the bullet and how luxurious the gold packaging looks - it's so pretty to look at!
