With the weather being so abnormally gloomy for the past month or so, I've felt quite uninspired to do a lot of things I would normally enjoy, and putting on makeup happens to be one of them. When the new Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion Highlighter* showed up on my doorstep however, I snapped out of my 'no makeup daze' rather quickly and wanted to play with it and see it in all of its glory, and so I did!
The Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion Highlighter comes in two shades: 01 Golden Pink and 02 Golden. I decided to go with the former since it is best suited for light to medium skin tones. Housed in the brand's signature compact with a mirror, the wavy pattern and geometric embossment make it super pretty to look at. Think of these as the highlighter versions of the Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzers, with the same cream-gel like texture, which I happen to love since I find it does not emphasize my pores.
I typically like to highlight my brow bone, tip of my nose, cheekbone and cupid's bow by just lightly dipping my brush for a natural-looking, luminous effect. My highlight stays put throughout the day without fading. I think it's an awesome product if you are new to highlighting and want something that won't make you look like a disco ball, but instead will add a nice subtle glow. I am rarely disappointed by Make Up For Ever, and once again they've hit the ball out of the park with this one!
