3 Ingredient Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
Almost Supermom
My amazing 10 year old Martha Stewart in training came up with this one all on her own :) Proud mommy moment here! We went strawberry picking a few weeks ago and came back with close to 4 gallons of strawberries from my favorite place to pick anything, Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, GA.

Healthy Raspberry Frozen Yogurt
Whole Food : Real Families
Sweetened only with fresh fruit and honey, this Healthy Raspberry Frozen Yogurt doubles as dessert and nutritious snack when it is hot outside!

Thrifted Milk Can Makeover
Raven would
On one of my last trips to Goodwill I found this little milk can. I’ve always wanted one for my kitchen and this looks like one I saw being sold at the craft stores at some point in time. I picked it up for an easy on the pocketbook 2.99.

EASY DIY FABRIC FLIP FLOPS
iGoBOGO
What’s great about these adorable DIY Fabric Flip Flops is how easy and inexpensive they are to make! The other great thing is that you can upcycle an old pair of flip flops into something new and fashionable or something perfect to match a favorite dress!

10 WAYS TO RELAX AND DE-STRESS
DESIGN LIFE DIARIES
Two weeks ago Chris and I were able to attend the annual Lavender Festival at Highland Springs Resort. This has been on my LA Bucket List for about five years now, but I always somehow manage to miss it. This year, I was not about to let it sneak by me again. I am so happy that my handy dandy planner (I use this one!) kept it on my radar and we were finally able to partake in the festivities this year.

When I look into a mirror, I think I look okay. I know I’m overweight, and I know I have a “mom bod.” But my husband never complains – he just tells me I’m beautiful no matter what. But every once in a while my confidence takes a hit, and I have to remind myself that my size is not my worth. My body does not define what I can do or who I am. The other night, I was sent reeling by a comment from my five year old, Dexter.

Healthy Hydration: Honey/Ginger Haymaker’s Punch
~Taylor-Made Homestead~
One of the job hazards of being a homesteader in Texas is the heat & humidity you’re subjected to during a typical Texas summer as you go about your daily tasks.  WHEW!  It’s really turned hot out there, but I’m not afforded an air conditioned job behind a desk anymore. (not that I’m complaining!)  I need to be in the garden, on the tractor or maybe at the barn – much of my responsibilities involve me working outside.  Recently a smart friend shared her recipe for making what she called ‘Haymaker Punch’ that she used as her own homemade Gatorade during the summer.  Her recipe used 4 simple ingredients: apple cider vinegar, filtered water, grated ginger and honey.

Making a Log Planter for Flowers
A Proverbs 31 Wife
Back in March I found and shared this photo on Facebook. I loved the idea and wanted Jason to help me make one.
The response from every-one was overwhelming, and I was asked to share photos if I ever made one. Well it took several months but I now have a log planter in my back yard!

PEACH CRUNCH CAKE
Walking on Sunshine
Well, this recipe is both easy and good.  No, it's better than good.  It's delicious.  It's amazing!
I've made this peach crunch recipe quite a few times and each time I make it I'm reminded at how easy it is and how much people enjoy it.  It uses a cake mix and canned peaches.  Who knew a cake mix and canned peaches could turn into this amazing delicious peach crunch cake.

CHERRY PIE COOKIES
CincyShopper
These Cherry Pie Cookies will make for a perfect summer dessert. Mini pies in the form of a cookie are great for picnics and bbq’s. Super delicious, easy, and so fun!

Little Tikes Playhouse Extreme Paint Makeover
Petticoat Junktion
What kid doesn’t love a playhouse? I never had one when I was growing up…. soooo deprived.  Our neighbors gave us this playhouse about 10 years ago. It was a hand-me-down from their grandson.  Our oldest granddaughter, Tenley, was two or three at the time so we were thrilled to get it.  That was about 10 years ago.

Grilled Watermelon with Feta and Mint
Comfort Spring's Pursuing a Natural Lifestyle
Many of us grill veggies and fruits to bring out flavor and add a new dimension to its taste. I found this recipe last year and it’s perfect for cookouts on hot summer days.

Baby Diaper Wreath
How to Nest for Less
My little sister is having a baby in a few weeks and I threw her a little baby shower this past weekend. One of my favorite gifts to give any expecting mommy is a diaper wreath!
