In case you may be wondering what the warmer months have in store for us makeup lovers this year, all I can say is that natural-looking makeup is not going anywhere! Lightly flushed cheeks, brightening eye shadows and glossy pink and nude lips are what you will be seeing from a variety a brands, including Sothys' limited edition Vintage Sport Makeup Collection, featuring six items to keep you looking fresh and polished. I am always very impressed by this luxurious French brand's beauty products (see here), so I couldn't wait to put their newest collection to the test.
Left: Sothys Jelly Eyeshadow in 10 Ivoire Lumineux | Right: Huile de Gloss in 10 Framboise Chic |
I always keep my makeup setting sprays close, and the Sothys Fresh and Fix Mist* (C$26.00) will surely come in handy in the coming months, especially since it is travel size. Made with oatmeal extract and smelling of sweet candy, this is a great mist to simply perk you up in the morning and also prolong the wear of your makeup. I am normally not a fan of sugar-sweet fragrances, but there is something about this one that doesn't make it so... sickening? Not sure how else to describe it, but it sure is nice.
Now, the nails can't be forgotten - the Vernis Sothys in 307 Rose Nude (C$18.50)* is a classic sheer beige that can be built to full opacity. It makes your nails look perfectly polished and natural, great for those who want a manicure but don't want to draw immediate attention to their nails. I absolutely love this shade, which is slightly lighter than their previous Beige Roux which I wore a ton.
The new Sothys Vintage Sport Collection will be available mid-March in Sothys institutes and specific spas across Canada. To find a point of sale near you, call 1 800 361-3004.

ReplyDeleteI've never used a mist like that for my make up. Will those products be available in the States or just Canada?
