Softlips LUXE Lip Moisturizers + $50 Prize Pack Giveaway!

If there is one thing I think one can never have too much of, lip balm would be it. I keep a handful of lip balms a bit everywhere: on my vanity (see here), in my hand bag (more evidence here), not to mention I also have back ups since I go through them rather quickly... oh the perks of Canadian winters! The newest additions that have made it into my stash are the Softlips LUXE Lip Moisturizers in Creamy Coconut* and Silky Shea*. I am sure you are all familiar with this brand. Reflecting back however, I realized that I have actually never tried any of their products! Shocking, I know. What first caught my eye when I received the Softlips LUXE Lip Moisturizers was their unique packaging. Not your conventional lip balms as they come in bullet form with a cute swirl design and have a bit of weight to them, similar to a lipstick. This brings me to the next point - you can wear these on their own to soothe dry, chapped lips but they also act as a great base under lipstick. Containing rich ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter, as well as vitamins A, C & E, not only do they hydrate but they also prevent future dryness without leaving that greasy feel. I was positive Creamy Coconut would be my favourite (I am partial to anything containing coconut if you could not already tell from my Instagram quotes), however I have been enjoying Silky Shea slightly more since the scent isn't as strong.
