NEW Jealous Body Scrub in Grapeseed + Macadamia | Review

Ever have those moments when you are desperate to get rid of stubborn flaky dry skin and nothing seems to get the job done? Not too long ago, I was blown away by the original Jealous Body Scrub made from coffee grounds and coconut oil and how it left my skin soft as ever (more on that here). I'm not the only one who thinks so either - everyone has been raving about this fabulous scrub! Jealous Body has recently expanded their line to incorporate four new, all natural scrubs: almond + coffee, cocoa + almond, almond + macadamia as well as grapeseed + macadamia*, which I will be sharing my thoughts on with you today.

Jealous Body Scrub in grapeseed + macadamia has that same, intoxicating coffee scent, I would say even more so than the original. I find the new addition to not be as abrasive, despite both versions having raw brown sugar and sea salt as exfoliating agents. This new one feels much finer, making the overall texture less gritty while still managing to work its magic and provide relief to problem skin. Also included are macadamia and grapeseed oil, vitamins A, E and minerals. What I loved about the original scrub is that you do not need to moisturize once you step out of the shower and once again this new formula does exactly that: no need to reach for any other product to moisturize your skin thereafter. I've been loving using this scrub as a pre-shave treatment as well - once rinsed off after a good scrub, I simply reach for my razor since the oily residue acts as a protective layer and prevents me from getting cut or razor burnt.

To use, get your skin wet and simply smear your entire body (even your face, with the exception of the eyes) with the scrub, rubbing it in using circular motions. Let it sit for up to 10 minutes to let your skin absorb all of its goodness. Once rinsed off, your skin will look fresh, glowy, smooth and ultra moisturized. If you struggle with acne, cellulite, eczema, stretch marks, age spots, varicose veins or psoriasis, this will provide great relief and you should notice improvements with prolonged and regular use, that is, 2-3 times a week.
