Confession time: I am a makeup brush hoarder. If you need proof, just click here. I think it's because I get lazy when it comes to cleaning them so I prefer having multiples of brushes that serve different purposes. I have tried my fair share of brushes from different brands, including MAC, Real Techniques, EcoTools, Sephora Collection and Spa Resource, which all work great and have been well-loved throughout the years that I have been an avid makeup
Shading brushes are definitely a must when it comes to eye makeup. This brush is by far the best eye shading brush I own. It effortlessly adds a wash of colour all over the lids thanks to its short, tapered bristles. The soft hairs make it easy to pat the eye shadow on, and the sturdy handle and ferrule add to its quality. No shedding whatsoever, and following a cleaning, the hairs dry within a couple of hours, which is definitely a plus compared to the other brushes that I own that sometimes take up to 24 hours to completely dry.
Not that I need any more brushes (clearly), but I'm really getting the itch to try more Sigma brushes. They are reasonably priced, and their sets are such great value for the price! Sigma also offers monthly promotions where you save 10% off your order, and this month's code is FEB2014. I will keep you updated on the discount codes via my blog's sidebar throughout the year!
