Sothys Cosmetics: Review and GIVEAWAY!

I have an amazing beauty brand to share with you all! I had personally never heard of it before, and I'm so glad that I got to try some of the products that I have to review for you today! Sothys is a professional personal care line with over 60 years of cosmetic research and innovation. They sell a variety of products including skin care, makeup, fragrances, and more. The brand was created in France, and today is represented by over 20,000 spas worldwide in over 115 different countries! The first product I got to try from the Sothys makeup line is the Intense Look Eye Pencil* in Violine (C$21.25). It is a beautiful eggplant shade that is just beautiful and that would suit all eye colours. Purples are definitely my favourite when it comes to eye makeup since I find they really compliment my green eyes. I really like using this pencil to line my lower waterline and also my upper lash line. I think it's great that it also comes with a smudger tip on the other end, the perfect tool to create a more dramatic, smoky effect.

I was also sent the Graphic Kohl Liner* in Noir Profond (C$24.50). It is an intense matte black pencil that goes on super smooth. I love using it to tight line my upper lash line and to create a winged line to achieve a cat-eye look. Definitely my new favourite black pencil liner!

Now, the Mineral Powder Eyeliner* in Gris (C$28.50) is unlike anything I have ever tried. This glittery grey mineral eyeliner comes with a sponge tip applicator that picks up just the right amount of product and makes creating a line super easy. Since it is mineral-based, I make sure to place a tissue under my eyes since there is some fallout when applying, but amazingly once it is on the eyes this stuff does not budge or flake! I had never before tried a grey liner, and I have been loving how different it makes my eyes look!

Last but not least, I received the Hydra Glide Lipstick* in Rouge Rock (C$28.50). It is an absolutely stunning deep red, definitely a beautiful shade to wear when going for a glam makeup look. I have seriously been obsessed with this lipstick! The pigmentation is just amazing, and the product itself feels very light-weight - it actually doesn't even feel like I have anything on when I'm wearing it. This lipstick also lasts: after 8 hours of wear, my lips are still stained with the colour!

I created this makeup look using all four products: I used the Mineral Powder Eyeliner in Gris on my lid, the black Graphic Kohl Liner to tight line my upper waterline, the Intense Look Eye Pencil in Violine on my lower lash line, and finished the look with the Hydra Glide Lipstick in Rouge Rock on my lips.
