Innisfree It's Real Grape Sheet Mask

I was having a very in-depth beauty conversation with my co-worker the other day, and after narrowing our topic down to skincare, we started talking about face masks. I mentioned to her that I had never tried a sheet mask and she looked at me in shock. She told me she had so many at home and the following day she gave me the Innisfree It's Real Grape Mask as a gift. This natural Korean mask is infused with grape and green complex that is supposed to add vitality and energy to the skin.

As soon as I opened the package, the room was infused with fruity goodness - this mask truly smells like freshly squeezed grapes! As soon as I put it on my face, I noticed how cooling it felt. The mask dripped a little bit of liquid when I took it out of the package, but once it was on I had no issues. It did feel quite slimy to the touch, but thankfully it's a good kind of slimy. I left it on for about 20 minutes and I couldn't believe how hydrated my skin felt afterwards!

I have been using a clay-based mask for years and really like it, but my co-worker brought to my attention how clay masks are really good at detoxifying the pores and getting rid of impurities, but they can be a little drying, which is where a sheet mask works wonders to replenish the skin. The best part is that unlike other types of mask, there is no rinsing required - simply peel it off, massage any remaining solution into the skin, and you are done!

Now that I've tried the Innisfree It's Real Grape Mask, I plan on using sheet masks more regularly since I really like the benefits I reaped from using this one. Sheet masks are very affordable, which is definitely a plus too.

I am so happy I got to try this mask! Have you tried sheet masks? If so, which one is your favourite?

  8. FIRST SHEET MASK, EH ;)
I actually tried my first sheet mask earlier this year too! (Annnnd now I have a fairly good stack of them, haha) I'm glad you enjoyed trying them out though! I know what you mean about clay masks being drying though, which is why I love sheet masks because they make my skin ~so overly moisturized~
