I was just recently introduced to NYX when I ordered some of their products from
BeautyJoint.com (see my haul
here). It didn't take me too long to fall in love with their products, and the first one I wanted to review is the NYX Powder Blush in the shade Terra Cotta. With fall fast approaching, I will definitely be getting a ton of use out of this little gem!
I would describe Terra Cotta as a dusty bronze, peachy shade with a slight shimmer to it. When wearing it, I usually skip on highlighter just because the shimmer gives me that desired "glow". The blush is really pigmented and applies smoothly without there being any fallout. It is also long-wearing and the shimmer lasts all day. Recently I have been loving applying my powder blushes with my stippling brush since it really blends the product nicely onto the skin.
If you are looking for a blush that is different from the common pinks and corals, I would highly recommend you try NYX's Terra Cotta blush! It is super affordable and has great colour payoff!
I'm thinking of getting more NYX blushes... I've had my eye on Taupe for a while now! Any shades you would recommend? :)
This was one of my favorite drugstore blushes. I keep meaning to repurchase, but I just haven't gotten around to doing it.
ReplyDeleteHands down NYX makes the best drugstore blushes and I am an admitted blush snob.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite blushes :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks really pretty! I ordered the Mocha blush the other day but now I want this too, hehe.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog through the Share the Love blog hop - I'm one of this weeks co-hosts. Now following :D

Terra Cotta is one of my favorites!! NYX blushers are all so lovely. My absolute all-time favorite blush ever is NYX Pinched -- I'd definitely recommend it!

This might be a great blush for me knowing it only has slight shimmer and the lovely color. Thank you for the review!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great colour! Not too pink!
