Sephora Makeup Haul

While on vacation in the States last week, I decided to pick up a few items at Sephora that I had been lusting over in the last few months. I'm telling you, every time I go in there, I just want to purchase everything... makeup junkie problems, I know! I did however limit myself to these 4 products, one of which I got for free: oh yeah!

Here is a breakdown of the new additions to my makeup drawer:

Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder SPF 15 in the shade Natural Beige - I've been wanting to try a mineral powder since liquid foundation can sometimes feel quite heavy on my skin and some days I wish to head out the door quickly without having to spend too much time on face makeup. My cousin had been using this powder while we were vacationing together. Her skin looked flawless and she recommended that I try it for myself. I saw the full "before and after" effect of this product once the Sephora makeup artist applied it to my face and I instantly loved it.

Hoola Bronzer by Benefit - Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has been raving about this little gem! I really liked how it swatched on my hand as it wasn't orange nor muddy. I will definitely do a full review once I give it a whirl.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper - I got to pick this liner up for free at checkout as I reached 100 points as a Sephora Beauty Insider. I have to admit I am not the best at applying liquid liner but I will practice, practice, practice until I have mastered the application!

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black - This mascara has a very thin and short wand that is great for applying product on those hard to reach places such as the bottom lashes and the inner and outer corner of the top lashes. I am in love with the packaging!

And that concludes my beauty haul! Have you tried any of these products? Any alternatives that have been working for you? I'd love to hear from you :)

  1. Can't wait to see the review on the Hoola Bronzer. I'm in the market for a new one, and I've been running around swatching them like crazy. I was completely unimpressed when swatching Nars' Laguna. But I have to agree with you, that Hoola was the only one I found to not have even the slightest orange tint.

Might go check out the Laura Mercier powder as well!

    1. I hesitated between those two. Laguna looked a little too muddy for my complexion, although I see how it can look nice on someone with a tanned skin tone. The review will be up soon, stay tuned! :)

  2. I'm interested in seeing a review on the LM pressed powder....I'm thinking of switching to pressed powders once my skin gets better so I'm definitely on the hunt for a good one! xx

  3. I love the Clinique lower lash mascara. I have short lower lashes and this one works so well for me. Don't think it says waterproof but it doesn't smudge on me and last all day long. I already bought a second one as I know this will become my stable.
