Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette: A Review

The Urban Decay Naked Basics palette has definitely become a staple in my makeup stash. It features six beautiful shadows - five mattes (Foxy, Walk of Shame, Naked 2, Faint, and Crave) and one satin finish (Venus). If you are like me and wear mostly neutral eye looks, you will love these shadows! They have a super smooth texture and apply like a dream, and blending them is hassle-free. I can also skip on using an eye primer because these shades literally do not budge or fade throughout the day. Added bonus right there! ;)

I especially like using Venus and Foxy as highlighters, W.O.S. and Naked 2 all over the lid, and Faint as a transition shade in the crease. Crave is great for when I want to intensify my eye look and make it a little more smokey, and I occasionally use it as an eye liner as well. Whenever I get in a rut and need a little inspiration for new looks I can create, I just search the Internet because there are SO many tutorials out there using this palette (YouTube and Pinterest...ohhh my addictions!!) :)

This product has a very sturdy packaging and is slim and easy to fit in my makeup case, making it a joy to travel with. It basically holds all my essential shadows needed on the daily. No wonder this palette is so hyped up in the beauty community, it truly is a must-have for neutral makeup lovers like me!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this little gem after winning a giveaway, thank you so much Flo! Definitely check her lovely blog out if you get a chance! <3

In Canada, the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette retails for $32.00 and is available at Sephora.

Have you tried this palette? Isn't it just amazing? <3
