Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette: A Review

Summer is knocking on our doors, and everyone knows what that entails: VACATION TIME! I am so very excited to get to travel to the South in a few months with family, and since I like packing lightly, I was looking for an all-in-one face palette that would be handy to take with me. Insert the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette! I spotted this item at Sephora, and since I had heard such rave reviews on the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (which if you don't already know is their eye palette), I figured the Flushed Palette would also be a winner. It comprises a matte brown bronzer, a pink-toned highlighter, and a berry blush. Not only are these shades great quality, but the packaging is probably what sold me the most on this product. It is sleek, compact, has a large mirror and snaps shut so easily with the magnetic closing. I absolutely love it!

The matte bronzer is a nice medium brown, and it is not too pigmented which I find for a bronzer is a good thing because you can gradually build the color to the right intensity for your skin color. It is not orange at all, which is perfect for anyone with a fair skin tone.

The highlighter is probably my favorite part of this trio. It has a pink undertone, giving such a beautiful goddess glow to your skin. I like placing some on top of my cheekbones, right above and right below my brows, in my inner tear ducts, down my nose and on my cupid's bow.

The blush is a nice deep pink, leaning on the berry side. A little goes a long way, and blending is definitely key with this blush. Nonetheless, I really like how it looks on my fair skin.

What is really great about this palette is that it can truly suit anyone. From dark skin tones to fair skin tones, you can work with the intensity of each shade to give a nice finish to your face! :)

In Canada, the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette retails for $35 at Sephora stores or online at Sephora.com

Have you tried any of Urban Decay's palettes? This very first palette I own from them has definitely sold me on the brand! :)

  1. I loooove Urban Decay! I still don't own this palette because I've heard it doesn't show up on darker skin tones. It's so pretty though-I might just have to get it :)

    1. Hi Alma, no I haven't tried the original, I have a lot of eye shadow so I've always resisted the temptation to buy it! Someday I might just cave in ;)
