Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser

I don't know what it is about concealers, but I always really really enjoy trying out new ones! The most recent concealer to have passed the test in my opinion is Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles. It is highly praised in the beauty community, and I have definitely hopped on the bandwagon with this concealer after having tried it myself! :)

The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser comes with a sponge tip applicator, which is very practical as the product just glides onto my skin. The product is absorbed through the sponge and seeps through it once the clicker on the rim right under the sponge is turned a few times. I usually blend the product out with a makeup brush, but if I'm in a rush, using my ring finger does the trick just fine too! Although this concealer does not have the best coverage from my experience as compared to other concealers I have tried  in the past (such as MAC's Pro Longwear Concealer), it still does a decent job at covering my dark circles. I got mine in the shade "light" although I feel it is a tinge too dark for me. There is actually one shade lighter called "fair", but I remember the drugstore did not have it in stock so I figured the one in light would still work for my skin tone.

Overall though, I would still recommend this concealer since it does a good job at brightening my under-eye area, and hey - for the price, you don't have much to lose! Sooo many people love this concealer, and honestly if I had the one in the lighter shade, it think I would have hit the concealer jackpot! I might just buy the lighter shade once I run out of my current one :)

Are you a concealer junkie? Which one is your go-to?

  1. Honestly I don't use concealer, although I should. I just use my foundation. But this one looks interesting! Might give it a look :)

  7. I bought this after reading so many raves about it. I think it's just OK. I have it in Fair and the color works OK for me. It's not enough coverage for me when my circles are really bad. I also have a problem with it settling into the fine lines under my eyes. I'll keep using it but I wouldn't repurchase.
