Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in Violet Voltage

If you have been following my blog for a while, you know that the Xtreme Wear Nail Polish line by Sally Hansen is my absolute favorite. And I mean it: OPI, Essie, Butter London, etc ain't got nothing on the amazing formulation that are the Xtreme Wear polishes!

Now moving on to yet another wonderful little gem in the line: Violet Voltage. I mean, the name itself is fitting, but most important is the quality behind the product. Once again, Sally Hansen has "nailed" it with this beautiful color. There is a slight seen to the finish, nothing too shiny. I have been wearing this particular shade over and over again, I just can't get enough!

Sally Hansen Xteme Wear Nail Polish in Violet Voltage (# 445)
What I especially like about this polish is that it is super opaque: you only need one coat to reach full coverage. All of the polishes from this line last me the longest without chipping when paired with a top coat. I am currently using Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails UV top coat...it's a good one ladies! :)

What is your all time favorite nail polish line?

Big Drugstore Haul: Skin Care and Makeup!

I went to the drugstore earlier this week and I have to admit... I let loose! You know it's time for some retail (in my case, drugstore) therapy when you have a long list of products that you have run out of or simply want to try out after having friends/fellow bloggers/beauty gurus recommend them to you! :D

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer

I wanted to try out a high end concealer as I have some pretty bad acne scarring on my cheeks. Although I found some drugstore concealers that do a decent job, I wanted to try out something a little more expensive and high grade to see if I would notice any difference in my skin. This was my first purchase from MAC, and I was color matched to NW20!

Nicole by OPI: Rainbow in the S-Kylie

I absolutely love glitter nail polishes, but have always stayed away from them in the past because they can be such a pain to remove. Luckily, I have recently discovered a very easy way to remove those pesky glitters! This method doesn't strip down the layers of my nails which otherwise would always happen to me. Let me know in the comments below if you would like for me to dedicate a how-to post all about tips and tricks on how to efficiently remove glitter polish! :)

Moving on to today's star of the post (lol), Nicole by OPI's 'Rainbow in the S-Kylie' is a gorgeous multicolored glitter polish with blue, green, pink, orange, yellow, and silver hexagonal chunks that vary in size. If a rainbow were to explode, this polish would be the result haha! I love that it can be worn on its own or as a top coat!
