Now, on to my empties for the month of December!
This month's empties features a few hair products, mascara, a brown pencil, perfume, makeup remover wipes, deodorant (lol) and clear nail polish!
First off, I used up my Maybelline The Falsies Flared Volum' Express Mascara in Blackest Black. I did a whole blog post reviewing this product (which you can read here!). I wasn't a big fan of it - I do not plan on repurchasing this particular mascara anytime soon.
Next up, some oil-free makeup remover towelettes by Almay. In my opinion, these weren't very gentle, and I had to press hard on my eyes to get the makeup off. I would always have to rinse my eyes to get the remainder mascara off, which really sucked! I would not recommend these wipes unfortunately.
The sample perfume by Fruits and Passion in Vanilla-Pineapple that I finished had a very strong scent. I love the scent of vanilla extract (the one you buy for baking purposes) but in perfumes I find the smell quite different and sometimes nauseating. In this case, I am sad to say that I did not enjoy the scent. It was very overbearing in my opinion. :(
Now on to the Secret deodorant..simply put, not the best deodorant on the market, but it did the job..which is what really counts lol!
The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Dryness Reversal Treatment for Dry, Damaged Hair is my holy grail deep conditioner! It's pretty thick, so I leave it in my hair for 5 minutes as a hair mask while showering, and it leaves my hair feeling amazingly soft and nourished! This is the fourth bottle I've used up, and I need to get some more! (Shopper's Drug Mart often has it on special at $2.99 instead of $6.49, so I definitely need to stock up on it next time it's on clearance!)
Yves Rocher's I ♡ My Planet Radiance Shampoo is a good clarifying shampoo, but I wasn't particularly fond of the lemon-y scent. For that reason I do not plan on buying it again.
Samy Instant Recurl Frizz Control Finishing Spray for Curls was just a horrible product in my opinion - it didn't do anything amazing, and the smell was very unpleasant. It took me a couple of years to finish this spray, but I was determined to do so since I hate wasting products! So long Samy!
I got the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat polish after hearing such great things about it in the beauty world. I have to say I was quite impressed with this top coat, it's definitely worthy of it's name! I plan on repurchasing this very soon in a larger size, since I only tried the mini version to see how I liked it! :)
Finally, I used up my Avon Brow Pencil in Blonde (B04). It was a perfect match for my eyebrows! I already purchased a different pencil from the drugstore, but I see myself repurchasing this one by Avon in the future!
And that wrap's up my December Empties! Let me know in the comments below what your experience has been with any of these products/which ones you would like to try! :)
