The 'Falsies' line by Maybelline is probably one of the most hyped about drugstore mascaras in the beauty world. I decided to try the 'Falsies Flared' myself, but unfortunately it just did not do anything incredible for my lashes.
My lashes are naturally pin-straight and are not too short nor super long, but somewhere in between - hence the need to use my eyelash curler before I apply mascara. The 'Falsies Flared,' I am sad to say, does not do a remarkable job to hold the curl of my eyelashes throughout the day. It isn't the worst mascara I have ever tried, but it's definitely far from being in my top 5. I was really looking forward to the 'scooped' shape of the wand providing my lashes with extra lift, curl, and length. I tried both ways of holding the wand, concave part up as well of convex part facing up to see if this was the reason that I wasn't getting the desired effect. I came to the conclusion that this mascara just isn't meant for my lashes. I think it really depends on the type of lashes you have, since I know people who use this mascara religiously because they get amazing results.
Have you tried any of the 'Maybelline Falsies' mascaras? Any tips on the application of this mascara, or maybe recommendations to buy a different one from the same line (for example the waterproof version, or the original Falsies)?

Hi there! I am your newest follower from my Bright Side Beauty Blog Hop. Thanks for joining! I have also heard that this mascara is really great but I have yet to try it myself. I use Maybelline Great Lash occasionally and I really think that one lives up to the hype. Too bad this one didn't work out for you. I really like Fairy Drops mascara and Makeup Forever's Smokey lash.

Hi Kristin! Thanks for checking out my blog, and for creating an awesome blog hop! :) I actually bought Maybelline Great Lash, but haven't tried it yet as I want to finish this one first. I will definitely look into the Fairy Drops & Makeup Forever mascaras. Thanks for sharing your recommendations! :)
