Lemon for Acne Scarring!

Hello Friends!

I have been looking into using solely natural ingredients on my face, and after doing some research, I came across the benefits of lemon for acne scarring. It's really simple: cut the lemon into disks and then take one and apply it topically all over your face or simply on your problem areas and store the remaining slices in a sealed plastic bag in the fridge for future use. It will visibly reduce any redness, and overtime, will help your skin heal from any scarring caused by breakouts.

Although it can sting quite a bit once applied, it is definitely worth the pain. You have to be consistent though, as you will not see results overnight. I do this before going to bed, hence once a day, and I make sure I properly rinse my face in the morning as it can feel kind of sticky and as I often have tiny clumps of lemon remaining. Give it a good month and see for yourself what great results lemon has to offer for your face! :)

*Note: you can also use a lime instead of a lemon, it has the same effect! :)

Have you ever tried lemons/limes on your acne? What were your impressions?

    1. It is definitely safe for the face, although it might feel a bit odd because it will sting. I find it really got rid of a LOT of the redness on my face and visibly dimished my spots. You have to be patient though, it takes a while to see results! :)

  6. I myself is suffering from acne, I do get it occasionally. They come and go and when they go it leaves a nasty mark. I tried this method and I can see that it helps lighten the pigmentation a bit. Other than that I believe it is effective, for me at least.
