Prestige Cosmetics Total Intensity Collection | Glam Makeup Look + GIVEAWAY!

The drugstore makeup aisle has many hidden gems, especially when brands are exclusive to one store since we don't hear about them as often. I was recently introduced to Prestige Cosmetics and the new Total Intensity Collection* which is sold exclusively at Uniprix, a popular drugstore here in Quebec. I had never heard of the brand previously so I was really excited to test out their products which promise bright pigments and are free of paraben, gluten, synthetic fragrance and mineral oil and are suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin after having been tested for dermalogical control. I incorporated all the products pictured above into one look which I will break down for you below, but I must first share that one lucky reader will be winning the entire Prestige Total Intensity Collection as featured in this post (keep on reading for details on how to enter)!

The Prestige Total Intensity Collection here presented includes 9 products: (1) Beyond Lashes Dramatic Precision mascara in Jet Black, (2) Against All Odds Liquid Ink Eyeliner in Tattoo, (3) Long Lasting Intense Color Eyeliner in Deepest Black, (4) Total Wear Shadow Stick in Jungle War, (5) Total Wear Lip Crayon in Party Shine, (6) Fierce Color Eyeshadow in Charmed, (7) Fierce Color Eyeshadow in Hocus Pocus, (8) True Metals Eyeshadow in Gilded, and (9) Color Rush Eyeshadow in Pretty in Pink. The Gilded and Pretty in Pink eyeshadows really stood out to me as they are beautifully embossed and have a nice shimmer to them, and as soon as I tried them out I was hooked. They have a great colour payoff and do not look or feel powdery which is sometimes an issue when working with drugstore eyeshadow compacts. Another favourite from the collection is the Party Shine Lip Crayon because even though at first I was intimidated by the sparkles, it actually looks pretty incredible on the lips and it's unlike anything I own. The Tattoo Liner is also a hit: the brush tip is sturdy making application relatively easy (I'm still practicing my liquid eyeliner skills, and slowly but surely I'm getting better every time!)

I came up with a look that is a little more glamorous than my typical everyday makeup, but I think I could still pull it off if I am wearing a classy outfit since it is not overly dramatic. On my eyes, I used Pretty in Pink all over my lid with Charmed, a shimmery peach, added to the inner half of my eyelid. To give my eyes a bit more dimension, I added Hocus Pocus, a metallic grey, as a transition shade. Using a darker shade in the crease is a great way to bring out other shadows in any eye look, and blending it out with a clean brush gives the eyes a clean smokey effect. For an extra pop, I used Gilded, a beautiful gold, on the inner half of my waterline, and Jungle War, a sparkly mossy green, on the outer half. To glam up the look even more, I used the Tattoo Liner to create a clean black line right above my upper lash line and the long lasting pencil to tight line. I finished off the eyes with a couple of coats of the Beyond Lashes Mascara and applied Party Shine Lip Crayon on my lips to complete the look.
