June Empties

I haven't done an empties post in quite some time, and having collected quite a few bottles, I decided to share with you some of the stuff that I have used up recently! :)

I always get so much satisfaction from finishing products. Funny how I like buying them but also get a kick from using them up haha! ;)

First up, in the natural care category, I finished the Filsinger's Organic Foods Apple Cider Vinegar which I used on my face as a toner as well as in my hair as a clarifier. I dedicated a whole post on the benefits of ACV which you can read here. I also emptied the Omega Nutrition Organic Coconut Oil. If you don't know the benefits of using coconut oil on your skin and hair, I encourage you to read more about it here! :)

Next up, Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser. It's mild and didn't irritate my sensitive skin. I wouldn't repurchase though because I prefer the one I am using at the moment by Simple.

I really enjoyed The Body Shop's Strawberry Body Polish. It smells heavenly and left my skin nice and exfoliated when paired with a luffa sponge when showering!

I also finished two conditioners: the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Fortifying Conditioner and L'Oréal's Color Radiance UV Filter Conditioner. They both left my hair nice and soft, although I prefer the one from Garnier because of the fruity scent.

Finally in hair, I got to the last drop of the Nume Arganics Argan Oil, which I applied to my ends each time  after I washed them to make them nice and soft. It also adds shine and doubles as a heat protectant once absorbed. It smells delicious too!

For the lips, I finished my EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit. I love this stuff! Smells amazing and keeps my lips hydrated for hours! I still have so many lip balms to go through but I will definitely be repurchasing this one.

I finally emptied the Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray which I've had for years! On the rare occasions I use hot tools on my hair, I would spray some of it onto my strands to protect my hair from heat damage. If you do not use a heat protectant, I urge you to start using one ASAP to prevent your locks from frying and breaking.

I like using multiple mascaras at once, and so I finished 2 of them in the last couple of months. The Benefit Bad Gal Lash I was a little disappointed in considering it is high end and has gotten quite a bit of praise in the beauty community. The ginormous wand was tricky to use and the formula was too dry for my liking. The second mascara I emptied is the Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes.
